What was your journey as a tattoo artist??

... and I can remember flicking through tattoos in motorcycle magazines as a kid, because my dad was so into them. I slowly then found myself amongst the right kind of people and then put the right amount of work in to learn the trade.  I've now been doing it 12 years.

What's your tattoo studio's vibe?

Professional but super fun and very welcoming.

What is your tattoo style and inspiration?

I like to span from realism to the abstract, I get inspiration from anything that’s not too generic or something that’s super technical. I appreciate fine art and seeing something that ignites passion. 

What are your favourite pieces to tattoo on people?

I probably say a blend of like, realism and abstract. Sort of like surrealism, just anything really provoking. I want to make people feel that it provokes a massive amount of energy when they look at the art.

What happens in your spare time?

Family time with my kids mostly if I’m not drawing.

Advice for a tattoo first timer?

Do the research. Look at peoples work a lot. But also go with your gut. I’d meet with the person to see how you both fit as it’s a very personal experience.
